As I was enjoying a walk in North Beverly I happened upon Mr. Robinson mowing his lawn in front of his lovely "Painted Lady Victorian." As is the case, in general, through out the area, Mr. Robinson whom I have never met, struck up a conversation with my daughter and I and we had a lovely chat. I found out all about the history of his home the history of his infamous garage/barn and had a tour of his garden and met his adorable little dog. I found out that every serious painted lady has a "color block" painted near the front door that depicts in one location all of the colors represented on the house. Mr. Robinson's house was very colorful and had a pretty flower garden that complemented the color palette of his home. We had a tour of his back garden and my daughter loved his tree house. It is quite clear Mr. Robinson loves his home and this neighborhood and it is reflected in the pride and time he puts into maintaining his beautiful home and grounds.
