As I drove to vote on Tueday morning November 4th I was overwhelmed with the gorgeous weather, the sense of excitement in the air and the beautiful scene through out Beverly, Morgan Park. I enjoyed walking around the church in Morgan Park where my polling place is located and was struck by the vibrant fall colors around me. I entered the polling place and was greeted by volunteers, old friends, that attended grammar school with me. After I voted I was filled with a sense of excitemnt and hope.. what if... it could actually happen! I then enjoyed wandering the neighborhood taking these few shots and counting my blessings that I live in such a beautiful neighborhood and could anticipate being a part of such a historic event in the history of our country. I will remember this day forever!
