History Mystery bike tour returns
After last fall's return ot the History Mystery Bike Tour the Beverly Area Planning Association has partnered with Ridge Historical Society to focus the event on the Ridge Historic District.
It'll also offer some new challenges, including:
- a mini-mystery for youngsters
- a maxi-mystery for families and individuals who want to test their physical and mental abilities
- and a geo-quiz for people who would like to use a GPS to find the clue locations.
The tour entails biking throughout the community and tracking down clues hidden in the architectural details on buildings or homes or on historic markers and signs, and then solving the overall history mystery puzzle.
Applications and more information are available online at www.bapa.org. Entry fees are $15 per person, $10 for students and seniors, and $40 for families (two adults with children under age 16).
Local businesses interested in learning more about sponsoring this event can contact Kathleen Riordan, kriordan@bapa.org or 773-233-3100.
