BAC hunts for solution to electric rate hike

In response to the nearly 150% increase in electricity supplied by ComEd, the Beverly Arts Center has tapped a local energy consultancy to help it develop a power procurement plan for the not-for-profit facility - in hopes of reducing its bill by 30-40%.
The center announced Friday that it has chosen RMG Energy Consultants, Inc., of Palos Heights as its partner to help the center choose a new electricity vendor.
The BAC, which moved into its new state-of-the-art facility at the corner of 111th Street and Western Avenue in 2002, was recently hit with a nearly 150% rate increase from ComEd due to the utility
