"Defending the Caveman" is the longest running solo play in Broadway history and now is a worldwide blockbuster.

Chicago actor Tyler Bohne will star as the Caveman.
Written by comedian Rob Becker, "Defending the Caveman" is a prehistoric look at the battle of the sexes. It played for two years on Broadway and is an international hit with productions in 30 countries including Canada, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden and Germany.

With hilarious insights on contemporary feminism, masculine sensitivity and the erogenous zone, the play addresses the common themes in relationships that go straight to the funny bone.

The play has been described as "an outrageously funny and surprisingly sweet exploration of the gender gap" according to the Chicago Sun Times.

An actor since he played Oliver Twist at age nine in his hometown, Milwaukee, Tyler Bohne has performed in everything from "Jesus Christ Superstar" to "The Crucible," and has found a real crowd pleaser in "Defending the Caveman."

Comedy is Bohne's favorite vehicle. After winning a national award for his work on the sketch comedy television show "Joy Farm," Bohne moved to Chicago in 1997 and began performing improv comedy at such noted venues as the Apollo Theatre, Mercury Theatre, National Pastime Theatre, The Second City, and Noble Fool.

With partner and fellow actor Patrick Zielinski, Bohne formed the touring company "HeadCheese Fat Boss Productions," creating and performing original children's shows throughout the Midwest.

Tickets cost $35.
