My Favorite NON-Florist, Olivia's Garden and Halloween Hay Stack Maze!

I admit, I am a lazy gardener! So when it's time to decorate my front porch with seasonal flowers I take the ez way out. It doesn't get any easier or more convenient than pulling in to Olivia's Garden at 108th and Western Ave. Owned by The DiCola family, of Fish fame, next door, this is a great spot for picking up the perennials or annuals. I like their flowers because they are reasonably priced and so far they seem to look the best longer! I just ran in to purchase my fall mums and found that Juan, the very nice man that seems to be running the place from behind the scenes, had cleverly devised a hay stack maze. I returned a few hours later with my daughter and her BFF. They had a blast running through the maze as I shopped a little bit more. I literally had to drag them out when it as time to go! We plan on returning another day when it is dark so that we can experience all of the glowing lights that Juan so carefully placed. Olivia's is a convenient friendly place to shop during summer, spring and fall. It closes down for winter so stop by soon!
