Kevin Pang of the Chicago Tribune called it "one of the finest burgers around" during an interview on the Jonathan Brandmeier Show this morning. He was referring to Top Notch Beefburger, 2116 W. 95th St., in Beverly - a favorite among neighbors from all around.

Pang reviewed the local institution (it's been serving Southwest Siders since 1964 in its current location) in today's Trib, proclaiming: "Angioplasties be damned, this translates into a burger that's mighty juicy, akin to biting into a stick of butter."
