Both Top-Notch Beefburgers and Grant's Wonderburger got the nod in a recent post on Serious Eats City Guide: Chicago for having some of the city's best burgers:

"If you like World War II era style freshly ground and griddled thin patties, try Top-Notch Beefburgers or Grant's Wonderburger Grill."

It's hard to disagree, but with so many other options (from steak to ice cream to Italian), we know many of you would argue that at least a few other area spots deserve a mention.

So what are some of your favorite "serious eats" in Mount Greenwood, Beverly and Morgan Park?

Yes, I will have to disagree!
Only with the pizza, which our family enjoys Pizza Man in EP
and for breakfast I would have to choose The Breakfsat club on 111th and Pulaski!! I have never been to Richie's.

Tell Us About Your Neighbors

We all know someone who’s worth the recognition, that neighbor or friend or family member who has an interesting story to tell … but one that not enough people know about. There’s enough bad news today that a little good news about our own neighbors could be just the right thing to keep us focused on what really matters: our community. So why not spread the word? Let us know in 200 words or less why you think someone deserves a little extra recognition. You’ll automatically receive 10 points (50 if we feature that person). Send a Neighbor Name to us.
